Skatepark Rules
Redditch Skatepark is primarily for the use of Skateboards, BMX
and inline skating.
The skatepark staff will have full discretion on weather to allow
mountain bikes and scooters depending on the ability level of the
user.
Skatepark staff from time to time will make recommendations to
users who seem inexperienced and a danger to themselves and others.
Children eight years and below must be accompanied by a parent
or guardian.
If you are a fist time user you must fill in a membership form
upon arrival at the skatepark. If you are under 18 you must have
it signed by you parent or legal guardian.
On condition of using Redditch skatepark you must to abide by the
following.
- Wear a helmet when using the skatepark.
- Behave in an orderly manner.
- Co-operate with skatepark staff.
- Do not take into the skatepark alcohol or any illegal substances.
- Do not use the skatepark under the influence of alcohol or illegal
substances.
- Make sure that your equipment is in good working order.
- Do not use the skatepark for any illegal activity.
- Do not use the skatepark while it is closed or unsupervised.
- Do not wax ramps.
- Do not commit any deliberate act that may put anyone else at
risk of injury.
- Only use the skatepark after paying the fee that is set by Redditch
Wheels Project.
- Do not wilfully damage the skatepark which includes Ramps, fence,
surface and ancillary equipment
Vert and spine ramp rules
- Be observant at all times, especially before dropping or rolling
in on any ramp.
- Be aware of anybody dropping in or using the ramp.
- Do not sit on ramp coping, grind rails or sub boxes.
- Do not cross a ramp whilst it is being ridden or skated.
- No waxing.
- Show courtesy at all times.
- If you are inexperienced or unsure ask advice from ramp park
staff.
- Helmets must be worn at all times. It is recommended that pads
be used.
- All accidents must be reported to a member of staff.
Large and small street course rules are the same as above
but have these additions
- Respect each others lines around the course.
- Check the bottom of the ramp is clear before you drop in.
- Look out for those who are dropping in while you are using the
course.
- No congregating at the bottom of ramps.
Trails rules
- Do not congregate between dirt jumps.
- Check that the run is clear before rolling into the jumps.
- Wait until the rider before you is finished before rolling into
the jumps.
Skateboarding, BMX, In-line skating, and other activities you may
undertake at Redditch Skatepark can be dangerous. You use Redditch
Skatepark at your own risk.
Redditch Wheels Project will not be responsible for any accident,
injury, loss or damage. Failure to adhere to the Conditions of use,
ramp or course rules will result in a ban from Redditch Skatepark
for a time set by Redditch Wheels Project and any monies paid to
us will not be refunded.
